COVID-19 TESTING - GENERAL QUESTIONS

Is testing mandatory?

Yes, providing a negative COVID-19 test is required to enter the show floor. 

Can I pre-test?

Yes, pre-testing is encouraged and can be administered on, or after, Friday February 5th

What are my pre-test options

Pre-test results will be accepted from the following testing sites: American Family Care (AFC), Costco/AZOVA, CVS Health, Discovery Health MD, GoHealth Urgent Care, Walgreens or any State Approved Testing Facility.

Who is doing the on-site testing?

U.S. Mobile Health Exams will provide onsite testing services at MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando.  Based in Jacksonville, FL, U.S. Mobile Health Exams is a *CLIA certified mobile health testing service that is approved to administer the BinaxNOWTM COVID-19 Ag Card rapid test. USMHE is managed under the care of Medical Director Brian W. Maziarz, M.D.

What type of test is being administered on-site?

BinaxNOW COVID-19 Ag Card test through Abbott Laboratories.
Abbott Laboratories has supplied 25,000 of its *BinaxNOWTM COVID-19 Ag Card rapid test kits. BinaxNOWTM is a portable, rapid test intended for the qualitative detection of nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 in nasal swabs from individuals suspected of COVID-19. Test delivers results in under 15 minutes with demonstrated sensitivity of 97.1% and specificity of 98.5% in clinical study.

Do I need to be registered for an event to get tested on-site?

Yes, you should be registered to attend at least one of the 3 events to be tested.

OFFPRICE Orlando, MAGIC, and WWIN will all require that you are badged individually for each event, to be tested onsite you'll need to display at least a badge from one of these events.

I've had COVID before, and/or received the vaccine, do I still need to test?

All guests will need to provide a negative COVID-19 test result in order to gain entry to the event floor.

I am an "at-risk" guest, will you be providing special hours for me to attend the event?

All three co-located events - OFFPRICE, MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando and WWIN - will offer limited attendance hours from 8am to 9am each day for high risk attendees. 

What happens if I do not consent to testing?

In order to provide the highest level of safety and per recommendation from our health partners, we do require all guests to provide a negative COVID -19 test result in order to enter the show floor. For those that do not want to test on-site, we recommend pretesting prior to your arrival in Orlando.

Besides myself, do any of my guests that are coming to the event need to be tested?

Yes, all those planning to attend our event will need to either test onsite or pre-test prior to arrival, and produce a negative COVID-19 test in order to enter the show floor.

Is the testing process ADA compatible?

Yes, the testing area will be accessible and will be ADA compatible.

Is there a charge associated to on-site testing?

On-site testing is free of charge for anyone registered for any three of the three events, OFFPRICE, MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando or WWIN.  

Do I need insurance or medical information for testing?

No, all on-site testing is free of charge and does NOT require insurance. For pre-testing, please contact your insurance provider for more information.

Can my doctor get a copy of he on-site test results?

You can share the information with your doctor on your own. The event organizers will not have access to your data or test results.

Do I need to test every day?

No, guests will only need to produce ONE negative COVID-19 test result in order to enter the show floor.

I've lost my wristband, can I get a new one?

Should a guest who has previous provided a negative COVID test result misplace their wristband during the event, they will be directed to the testing site Customer Service Desk – located in West Concourse, Hall WD1 - where they will need to provide proof of a negative test result from the NAVICA app (or previous self-test) in order to obtain a replacement wristband.

Do I get a new wristband each day?

No, you will receive one health screening wristband and wristbands must be worn for the duration of the event.

Is this process HIPPA compliant?

Yes. No Personal Health Information (PHI) will be shared with any other parties and your PHI is your own private information to discuss or share at your own discretion.

How accurate is the on-site test?

While no test is 100% accurate, the Abbott Test has a success rate within the 97th percentile (under 3% for false results).

What is required for children attending?

Children over the age of 13 are permitted to attend, but will require a negative COVID test in order to enter the show floor. Children under the age of 13 are strongly encouraged not to attend.  ALL children under the age of 16 will require a waiver. Forms will be provided by OFFPRICE at registration.

ON-SITE TESTING - APPOINTMENT SETTING

Do I need to make an on-site appointment?

For the quickest experience is it strongly recommended you make an appointment through our Chatbot, which will become available on Tuesday, January 26. Walk-in availability for on-site testing is limited.

How do I schedule an on-site appointment

Appointments will be available via our Chatbot, Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

Please check our health and safety page on, or after Tuesday, January 26 for information on how to book your appointment. 

 

What happens if I miss my on-site appointment?

If you miss your appointment you may re-schedule or proceed to the walk-in line/check-in desk located in the West Concourse, Hall WD2. 

Let the check-in desk know of your situation.

What if i can't set an on-site appointment?

If you are unable to set-up an appointment prior to your arrival, Informa Markets Fashion ambassadors will be readily available both at the Hyatt and Rosen Plaza at the Help Desk located in the hotel lobby. Additional technical assistance will be available at the Customer Service Desk located onsite at the OCCC, West Concourse, at the front of Hall WD2. Walk-in lines will also be available onsite, but appointments are strongly encouraged for the most expedited experience.

Can I change my on-site appointment?

Yes, you will be able to cancel an appointment and re-set your time by texting HELP to 844.832.3521 (the Chatbot will be available for booking and time inquiries starting Tuesday, January 26).

Can I schedule more than one on-site testing appointment?

You will only be allowed to schedule one primary appointment at a time. However, we are offering a 2nd test onsite before you travel back to your home destination, should you opt for it.  

Is there a technology requirement for on-site appointment setting?

You can set an appointment through a smartphone, laptop or any mobile device.  You can also call to schedule your appointment by texting 'Testing' to 844.832.352 (the Chatbot will be available for booking and time inquiries starting Tuesday, January 26).

Can multiple people join me at my on-site appointment?

Due to physical distancing, appointment only allow for one person. However, if you have a medical condition that requires assistance, please notify the Check-In desk when you arrive for your appointment.

What if the on-site appointment time I want is not available?

In the unlikely event your desired date/time is not available, guests are encouraged to pre-test prior to arrival in Orlando. You can pre-test anytime withing 72 hours prior to your arrival (on or after February 5). If pre-testing is not an option for you, walk-in options are available starting on Sunday, February 7. Please note: walk-in availability is limited and will have longer wait times, so please plan accordingly.

Will I get a reminder about my on-site appointment?

Yes you will be reminded on your phone through an SMS message 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

What are the on-site appointment times?

Appointments for on-site testing will be available starting Sunday, February 7, through Thursday, February 1 during the following times:
Sunday, February 7: 8am-6pm

Monday, February 8: 8am-8pm

Tuesday, February 9: 6am-6pm

Wednesday, February 10: 8am-6pm

Thursday, February 11: 8am-12pm

What do I need for my on-site appointment?

For your appointment, please bring a government issued photo ID along with the downloaded NAVICA app on your smartphone.

All guests are asked to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time.

If I miss my on-site appointment by 15 minutes is there a cutoff?

Proceed to the check-in and let the ambassador know you missed your appointment.

I don't have a smart phone, how should I proceed?

If guests do not have a mobile phone or are unable to download the NAVICA app following arrival to testing area, they will be directed to a staging area where they will be given a number  (ie: slot) and placed in the testing queue.

After testing, guests will be placed in a special designated waiting area to await their results.

Tests results will be confirmed visually from a US Mobile Health employee.

 

Guests with a negative result will be given a Pass Card with their test result and will then move to banning area in order to receive health screening wristband.

ON-SITE TESTING - PROCCESS QUESTIONS

What is the on-site testing process?

Visitor will enter the testing area and sit at their own testing station. Visitor will perform the nasal swab per healthcare professional's instructions. Next the visitor’s sample is inserted into the test card, along with the reagent, and test results are usually interpreted in 15 minutes or less, using either the NAVICA app or a manual process with a printed sheet showing the visitor's test results.

How long does the on-site test take?

The entire process with appointment will take approximately 30 minutes, while the Rapid Test takes 15 minutes to get the results.

Please allow yourself enough time to walk over to Hall D2 and take the Rapid Test, arriving 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

If you don't make an appointment and go through the Walk In Line this could take a significantly longer time based on demand at peak hours.

Where do I go to get tested on-site?

All on-site testing is located at The Orange County Convention Center, West Concourse, Hall D2.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

What are the on-site testing hours?

Appointments for on-site testing will be available starting Sunday, February 7, through Thursday, February 1 during the following times:
Sunday, February 7: 8am-6pm

Monday, February 8: 8am-8pm

What if I test positive?

Any positive COVID-19 test recieved, will be directed to Orlando Health for additional Tele-Heath consultation and guidance.

Medical advice or guidance with regards to patient’s symptoms, medical condition, quarantine and/or isolation instructions, self-reporting or additional testing will be provided by Orlando Health or another authorized medical professional.

Guests unable to produce a health screening wristband will not able allowed entry to show floor.  

NAVICA APP QUESTIONS

What is NAVICA?

NAVICA TM is a complimentary mobile app developed by Abbott to pair with the BinaxNOW TM COVID-19 Ag Card test. The app allows people who test negative to get an encrypted temporary digital NAVICA Pass, similar to an airline boarding pass. Our security provider will be able to view and verify the information on a mobile device to facilitate entry into the event.

What is the NAVICA app?

This is a new app that Abbott designed to pair with their BinaxNOW rapid antigen test for COVID-19. The app works on iPhone and Android devices and allows people to store, access and display their BinaxNOW test results so we can more confidently return to life.

Where do I get support for the NAVICA app?

What do I do if I can't download the app?

Still proceed to make your appointment for the allotted time of your choosing.  Technical Support through Abbott is available Monday to Friday 8AM to 8PM Eastern Standard Time at (800) 257-9525. Please have the following information available so we can best assist you: phone type, phone operating version, and app version.  Onsite report to a check in Counter or ask Show Management for technical assistance.

Do I have to download the app to get tested?

If you are testing on-site you must make an appointment and download the NAVICA app for the best service.

You can also pre-test 72 hours (or under) before arriving and display your negative result.
