Utilizing OFFPRICE Online Between Market Weeks

The future is here, and it’s DIGITAL! It is no secret that retail is changing, and unfortunately in-person tradeshows weren’t viable this fall; however, we understood it was essential to still offer our community an opportunity to do business with each other. So, we created a new way to connect retailers with vendors and products that isn’t confined to one single market week!  
 
The first OFFPRICE Online market week has passed, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait until the next market week to discover amazing deals. One of the benefits of going digital is the flexibility you have to connect with vendors and buyers all around the world, and on your own time! You can source products through the digital show, in the comfort of your own home and even in your favorite sweatpants if you prefer. OFFPRICE Online currently has more than fifty exhibitor showrooms on the platform with over 5,600 products available, and it continues to grow every day. You may have found some great deals during our first market week, but the fun does not have to stop there. Buyers can still access the platform to browse products and connect with vendors at any time! During the market weeks, buyers and exhibitors can connect through video meetings to show products and do business “face-to-face.” However, outside of the market weeks, there are still many features to take advantage of. 
 
First and foremost, all of the products from the first market week remain available to browse, unless they’ve been sold out. Additionally, the platform will continue to use its intelligent matchmaking function to recommend relevant products and exhibitors. You can browse the full catalog of products by clicking the “PRODUCTS” button at the top of the page. On the products page, you can refine your search using the filters on the left. You’ll see under “Product Categories” there is a list of general categories such as Mens, Womens, Accessories, etc. But within those categories there are also subcategories where you can refine your search to more specific items. For example, instead of selecting all Womens, you can click on the blue plus sign to view more specific subcategories—such as Womens Tops. Then click the green “SHOW” button to view all Womens Tops available on the site. Another great tip is to customize your search with keywords. After you’ve selected a specific product category, you can type a key word such as “gray” into the search bar on the left to find items fitting that description within the product category you chose.  
 
 
Similarly, you can also search for exhibitors using these filters. To do so, click “EXHIBITORS” at the top to view all of the current showrooms that are open on the platform. Then you can use the same steps from above to filter through vendors offering specific categories. 
 
Another great tip is to favorite items you’re interested in so that they are saved to your account and easy to find in the future. To favorite a product or exhibitor, simply click the star button in the top right of the picture and then click the star again. You can find all of your favorited items by visiting your homepage and clicking “Favorites” on the left. This is also an excellent way to prepare ahead of the next market week.  
 
Don’t forget that you can still engage with exhibitors through messages at any time. If you have a question about their products or just want more information about the company, click the envelope button to send them a quick message. You can revisit all of your conversations by going to your home page and clicking “Messages.” It is important to prepare ahead of time for the next digital market week, so we recommend scheduling video appointments with your favorite exhibitors in advance. Time slots will fill up quickly the closer we get to market week, so keep that in mind and try to plan ahead. 
 
Here’s a quick checklist to make sure you are ready to go for the next OFFPRICE Online market week! 
 
  1. Update your profile – make sure it’s completely filled in with who you are, what you do, and what products you’re looking for. 
  2. Check your matchmaking—sort through it to see your best fit matches for products and exhibitors 
  3. Visit the PRODUCTS and EXHIBITORS pages and be sure to favorite the ones you are interested in 
  4. Send messages to vendors to create a relationship and learn more about their offers 
  5. Schedule video calls for the upcoming show days 
  6. Check your messages and notification on your homepage!
