We’ve just wrapped up another successful edition of the OFFPRICE Show in Las Vegas—our 48th show in fact! Whether it was the amazing prices, styles, or networking, we want to know what part of the trade show was your favorite. Fall Fashion Made Its Debut

Buyers for major retail chains to small boutique owners found many fall apparel items, accessories, and footwear at the August show. Which products were among the most popular? Ponchos and shawls, athletic jackets, denim, and fashion jackets and blazers.

It’s All in the Details

What’s certain heading into the upcoming season is that attention to tiny embellishments are going to be the biggest margin-builders among your customers.

Back-To-School in Full-Swing

Many retailers new-to-OFFPRICE were pleasantly surprised to learn that many vendors can ship goods in a matter of weeks or less! Many of these off-price back-to-school items will hit shelves just in time for the school bell to ring.

The Future of Retail

Student guests from the University of Wisconsin-Madison received a first-hand experience of the off-price channel, and all the opportunities that are available. As graduation approaches, many of these students will go on to buy and/or merchandise for retailers across the country.

Limited-Time Opportunities

The off-price sector moves QUICKLY, and this show was no exception. Many close-outs and show specials sold out before the closing day of the trade show.

In a recent article, California Apparel News noted: “At the below-wholesale show known as Offprice, held Aug. 11–14, exhibitors were excited with the number of orders coming in and the high volume of traffic. This optimism stemmed from a belief that the typical OFFPRICE customer was more confident to spend money due to a robust economy.”

Visitors from Far and Wide

Retailers from Canada, Australia, South and Central America, and Europe, made the trip to OFFPRICE. Why? Because the off-price experience is a treasure hunt unlike any other around—making it the best resource for boosting retail businesses.

Educational Seminars and Networking

Buddy Teaster, CEO of Soles4Souls; Yen Lim, Simp-Q Photo Studio; Allie Olson, Founder of Retail Prowess; and Brian Gibbs, Refund Retriever; presented on key topics and solutions in the retail industry. Guests were able to watch their presentations, participate in Q&A sessions, and have one-on-one time with the speakers. Lim also helped vendors and buyers learn more about taking quality product photos for e-commerce sites and OFFPRICE365.
